(伝道 3:1) 何事にも時があり／天の下の出来事にはすべて定められた時がある。
(Ecclesiastes 9:11) I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
(伝道 9:11) 私は再び、日の下を見たが、競走は足の早い人のものではなく、戦いは勇士のものではなく、またパンは知恵ある人のものではなく、また富は悟りのある人のものではなく、愛顧は知識のある人のものではないことがわかった。すべての人が時と機会に出会うからだ。

釣りをしていたペテロのある１日に起こった４つ『瞬間』の例
(Luke 5:1-11) One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God, (2) he saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. (3) He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” (5) Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” (6) When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. (7) So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. (8) When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” (9) For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,(10) and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men.” (11) So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
(ルカ 5:1-11) 群衆がイエスに押し迫るようにして神のことばを聞いたとき、イエスはゲネサレ湖の岸べに立っておられたが、(2)岸べに小舟が二そうあるのをご覧になった。漁師たちは、その舟から降りて網を洗っていた。(3)イエスは、そのうちの一つの、シモンの持ち舟にのり、陸から少し漕ぎ出すように頼まれた。そしてイエスはすわって、舟から群衆を教えられた。(4)話が終わると、シモンに、「深みに漕ぎ出して、網をおろして魚をとりなさい。」と言われた。(5)するとシモンが答えて言った。「先生。私たちは、夜通し働きましたが、何一つとれませんでした。でもおことばどおり、網をおろしてみましょう。」 (6)そして、そのとおりにすると、たくさんの魚がはいり、網は破れそうになった。(7)そこで別の舟にいた仲間の者たちに合図をして、助けに来てくれるように頼んだ。彼らがやって来て、そして魚を両方の舟いっぱいに上げたところ、二そうとも沈みそうになった。(8)これを見たシモン・ペテロは、イエスの足もとにひれ伏して、「主よ。私のような者から離れてください。私は、罪深い人間ですから。」と言った。(9)それは、大漁のため、彼もいっしょにいたみなの者も、ひどく驚いたからである。(10)シモンの仲間であったゼベダイの子ヤコブやヨハネも同じであった。イエスはシモンにこう言われた。「こわがらなくてもよい。これから後、あなたは人間をとるようになるのです。」 (11) 彼らは、舟を陸に着けると、何もかも捨てて、イエスに従った。

What do Moments look like? その瞬間とはどの様なものか？
-They come fast and unexpected.　素早く、そして予期しない時にやって来る。
-They often don’t repeat. 繰り返してやっては来ない。
-They are for everyone (ready or not).みんなに用意されれている （準備できている、できていないに関係なく）。
-They often don’t look like ‘moments’.　何か特別な『瞬間』の様には見えない。
-They come on ordinary days. 普段の生活の中にやって来る。
-They are from God. 神様から来るものである。

Preparing for your ‘moment’ あなたのその『瞬間』のためへの準備
1.Have God as your priority　神様を最優先にする
(Matthew 6:33) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
(マタイ 6:33) 何よりもまず、神の国と神の義を求めなさい。そうすれば、これらのものはみな加えて与えられる。
2.Be the best you can be. 最高の自分になれるようにする
3.Sow into your future moments. 将来のその『瞬間』のために種を蒔く
