君の手の中にあるものは何か？

(サムエル 17:48-50) そのペリシテ人は、立ち上がり、ダビデを迎え撃とうと近づいて来た。ダビデもすばやく戦場を走って行き、ペリシテ人に立ち向かった。(49)ダビデは袋の中に手を差し入れ、石を一つ取り、石投げでそれを放ち、ペリシテ人の額を打った。石は額に食い込み、彼はうつぶせに倒れた。(59)こうしてダビデは、石投げと一つの石で、このペリシテ人に勝った。ダビデの手には、一振りの剣もなかったが、このペリシテ人を打ち殺してしまった。
(1 Samuel 17:48-50) As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. (49) Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. (50) So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

1.人々のニーズに神のビジョンを見出す Find God’s vision in people’s needs
-ダビデが来る前、イスラエルは危機的状況だった。誰もその状況を打開できなかった。
Israel was in a critical situation before David came. Nobody was able to break through the situation.
-しかし、ダビデは人々のニーズを見出した。But David found needs in people.

(マタイ7:12) 何事でも、自分にしてもらいたいことは、ほかの人にもそのようにしなさい。
(Matthew 7:12) So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

2.ビジョンを行うことを邪魔するものを排除する Remove obstacles which stop you from reaching your vision
-ダビデは鎧を脱ぎ捨てた。David threw off his armor.
鎧＝恐れ、プライド、恥ずかしさ、固定概念、財産、地位
Armor = Fear, Pride, Feeling embarrassed, Stereotype, Wealth, position

3.あなたが今持っているものでビジョンを行うことができる
Start reaching your vision with what you have right now.
(エペソ 2:10) 私たちは神の作品であって、良い行ないをするためにキリスト・イエスにあって造られたのです。神は、私たちが良い行ないに歩むように、その良い行ないをもあらかじめ備えてくださったのです。
(Ephesians 2:10) For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
-ダビデは剣を使わず、持っているもの（石）から始めた。David used what he had, the stone, instead of the sword.
-エベン・エゼル： ”エベン”は「石」”エゼル”は「助ける」Ebenezer: ‘Eben’ means ‘Stone’, ‘Ezer’ means ‘Help’ 

a.いつでもチャンスはある There is always a chance
-いつでもチャンスはある。要はそれを活かそうとしているかどうか。
There is always a chance to use what in your hands. The important thing is whether you try to use it or not.

b.状況が悪いからこそ活きる　It becomes even more alive in difficult circumstances  
-ダビデは悪い状況の中で、持っているわずかなものを使って行った。David used what he had in a bad situation.
-それが、のちに大きな成功を収めるきっかけとなった。It would became a key factor for his success later.

【結論 Conclusion】
-今は世の中不況である。多くの人々が不安を持ち、困っている。
 The world is in recession right now. Many people have concerns in many things.
→困っているということは、人々のニーズを満たすチャンスがあるということ。
  However, it is actually an opportunity for you to meet the needs of people.
-人々の生活、ビジネスにおいて、あなたの手の中にあるもので何か行うことができる。
You can do something to help people in peoples’ every day life (eg.at work etc.) by using what’s in your hand right now.
