(Philippians 3:12-16) (NLT) I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. (13) No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, (14) I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. (15) Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. (16) But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.
(ピリピ3:12-16)（リビング訳）なにも目標に達したとか、自分が完全な人間だ、などと主張するつもりはありません。 ただ、キリスト様が何のために救ってくださったかを知り、私に与えられている目標に到達する日を目指して、努力しているのです。（１3）愛する皆さん。 私は、まだその目標に達してはいません。 ただこの一事に、全力を注いでいます。 すなわち、過去に執着せず、前にあるものを望み見、 (14)ゴールに到着して天国からのほうびを得るために、一生懸命努力しているのです。 このほうびを与えようと、神様は、私たちに使命を与えました。 (15)私は、一人前のクリスチャンである、あなたがたがみな、この点について、私と同じ考え方をするようにと願います。 もし何かの点でこの考え方からはずれているなら、神様はきっと指摘してくださるでしょう。(１６)　しかし、すでに前進したことに関してしっかりと握り締める必要があります。

(Psalm 37:5-6) Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: (6) He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
(詩篇 37:5-6) あなたの道を主にゆだねよ。主に信頼せよ。主が成し遂げてくださる。 (6)主は、あなたの義を光のように、あなたのさばきを真昼のように輝かされる。

1. Start it はじめよう

-The word “commit” in Psalm 37:5 originally means to “roll away”. If you want to see things start happening in your life, start rolling it. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect to start.
詩篇37:5「コミット」はもともとは「転がしていく」という意味。自分の人生の中で何か始まっていくのを見たいのなら、転がしていこう！全てが完璧になるまではじめることを待つのはやめよう。

-Commitment starts from your heart 全力を尽くすことは心から始まる

2. Commitment goes extra mile　全力を注ぐことは一層の努力すること

- People who have strong commitment don’t give up no matter what comes to them: poverty, disaster, or sickness.
全力を注ぐことが出来る人は何が起きてもあきらめない。：貧困、災難や病気

ボクサーにとっては、ノックダウンされた後にもう一度立ち上がること

兵隊にとっては、丘の向こう側に何があるのかわからくても、丘を乗り越えること

To the missionary, it’s saying good-bye to your own comfort to make life better for others.
宣教師にとっては、他の人の人生がより素晴らしいものになるために自分の心地の良い場所から去ること

To the leader, it’s all that and more because everyone you lead is depending on you.
リーダーにとっては、今まで述べたもの全て、そしてそれ以上のもの。なぜならあなたがリードしている人々はあなたに頼ってるから。

To the people in Jesus Life House, it’s throwing everything aside for the salvation of Japanese people
ジーザスライフハウスの人々にとっては日本人の救いのためにすべての事を放棄すること

It’s keeping joy and smile when people around us are sad and depressed　
わたし達の周りの人々が悲しんで、落ち込んでいる時に喜びと笑顔を保つこと

It’s believing that there is hope in God when people have no hope in this society.
この社会で人々が希望を失っても、神様の中にある希望を信じること

3. Reviving your commitment　再び全力を注ぐ

a. Commitment is seen in your actions: Rethink how you spend your time in your work, church, family, and how and where you spend money on.
全力を注ぐことは行動を通してわかる：職場、教会、家族やいつどこでお金を使ってるのか考え直す

b. Remember what you are living for and dying for. 
何の為に生きていて、何の為に死にたいのかを思い出す

c. Don’t think is commitment is one action thing, but it is life-style.
全力を尽くすことは一度のことではなくて、ライフスタイル

d. Don’t replace your commitment with your mood, feeling, even the level your passion.
気分、感情、情熱によって全力を注ぐことを変えない
